Cody, no matter what I do, I can't get anything after Match 12 (except for one or two pieces) to show. Is this a problem with anyone else?
You guys are good, inside of my match and out. No safe harbor in Last Man Standing. Well done.
I'm not having that image problem, though loads are glacially slow.
Well I got smoked! eh at least I didn't puss out. Still learned a bunch. Thanks Cody again!
Great stuff. There has been quite some surprises, fantastic work from some people I didn't know!!!
Congrats everybody, I scroll down and see goodies after goodies. Good luck to Match N°5 boys and a special thanks to Cody for take the whole thing on his shoulders. Great, great event.
Wow, great stuff! Easily the best first round I've seen in the LMS competitions. I lost my round, everyone turned in great entries. Beelow's was cool, I like anything sci-fi, Burtzman's was simply beautiful, and hats of to stevekim! Fuck man, that piece is awesome! At least I'll come in before Coits...because they didn't hand anything in.
Great work by all.
Wow, some seriously awesome pieces of art in here! First impressions, Jessibean, Faxtar, Tom Garden, HP, Bluefooted and Yumiko, all amazing pieces., but congrats to all who finished!
Cody, you're fookin' gorgeous! Seriously, thanks a mills for taking this task up.
And amazing works everyone who didn't puss out! And to all in Match 21 - you guys rawk! This was totally worth the effort for me - even after not making it to R2, it'll still be worth it!
Wow excellent turnout all around! Congrats to everyone who turned in a piece. More and more smiles (each time I refresh :p)
I think you're right, Yumiko. I just keep emptying the cache and hitting reload and everything comes up after about 20 tries.
FYI, I forgot to add reservist Plate to Match 9 like I initially intended, so yeah. He's there now.
just wanted to give props to: icon burtzum Rusty metalpiss romance HP Stokes fedezz trevor bluefooted nephilim Hurricane Vorace Helzon, truely stunning pieces.
and big props to strych9ine/cody for putting this all together!
Makes me cringe to think what a stupid idea it was to keep pushing the deadline and not even get to finish my image, but I reeeally didn't wanna puss out :) I was really looking forward to coro's entry, I'm sure he said he was done with it ages ago in that revelations live feed with oblio?
There's some really kick ass entries here, btw. Congrats all round.
Dave, alxcote - Dudes, you kill me till i'm dead!

You guys and gals just ROCK ! :)
No really, congrats, peeps.
Congrats to everyone, some really amazing stuff. My hand is getting tired from having to "Save-image-as..." so much.

Holy God!!! Nice show folks, nice show. Congrats to everyone who entered and those who move on.
wow, soooo many great pieces!
this is seriously gonna be a bear to judge.
there are so many matches that have more than one really great piece.
great job to everyone in match 21 with me!
and great job cody for putting this all together of course.
Cody - Thanks for putting this together. What a blast to participate and to see all the other entries. There is some fantastic work out there.
Too many highlights to pick them all out. Shelly W. and Jason C., especially loved 'em. Matt Dixon, way fun man. Xaya, don't know your work yet, but I really like you painting! Very nice. Zephyri... powerful painting! Steak-tron, love how you have used the lighting in yours. It is like some vaccum formed bas relief or something. Cool stuff man. Dave Palumbo, that is way fun. Made me laugh out loud, the guy's face is perfect. robogabo... dang Tucson brother, nice painting.
Tons of great work in here. I need to comment on many more. Too many nice paintings! I can't wait to see what you all do in the next round. Those in match 13 good luck and great work!
My 1 gig/month bandwidth limit just exploded ... but it was totally worth it!
Wow...just wow so much amazing entries
Cant name all the ones I loved...too much hehe
Great job to all the people in each of the three threads.
This was truly a great effort all around. So much beautiful work that it doesn't sting in the least knowing I won't be in round 2!
Cody, thanks for all the work, too.
Match 7...way to step up. That's gonna be a hard one to choose.
Yes, a lot of great stuff. This is my first LMS, so I was wondering something:
To the judges, how do you weigh a person's technique vs. staying on topic? If one entry really screams "underneath it all" but is rendered in a simple style, and another is a visually stunning piece of artwork, but has nothing to do with the topic, who would win?
If this were a job assignment, I would think producing a work that stayed on topic would be of more use to an art director than something that was beautiful but off topic.
I would hate to have to judge this. There were too many pieces I just didn't understand. I'd stare at the piece, and try to figure how it fit the topic. How the essence of the image related to our assignment. Sometimes I'd get it, sometimes I'd just scroll down to the next image.
Regardless, I can see some people really spent a lot time on this, which is good.
I would like to see, if possible, the stand-in's names written in a different color or something, so I can know who came through to pick up the slack of a puss-out, and maybe that puss-out's name in parentheses behind it, so we can know who let us all down.
Man, it's amazing how some matches had FIVE completely solid artists!! It'd be one thing if there were three mediocres and one or two that stand out, but there were a few matches that, if I was one of those amazing artists (which turned out I wasn't) I'd be pretty heart-broken having such stiff competition.
