Composition Presentation 1: Design Theory for Artists
It's a nice challenge, I just don't know where I'll get the time to do that, unless I sacrifice doing all other art (otherwise the image just ends up being in WIP limbo forever because I get bored of it).
well since my thread was closed haha I will talk to you here
I think you are a very level headed person and I appreciate that..if I had more people like you critiquing me I probably wouldn't have fired back yeesh..about the oil paints I'm not making my point oils are fine but I'm not good enough with them and can't create the things with them that I can on the computer..not dissing the medium, just not for me.I also see exactly what you're talking about the almost plastic look of my shit..I keep trying with each picture to make things look idk?...fuzzier and more thick?..when you see my 1st picture of the titan that I did in oils you can see why I don't like them hahaha..it's bad news..I never could figure out how Boris Vallejo painted I tried to find books,articles,videos...NOTHING absolutely zero material on his techniques..there's a few stages of one of his paintings in his book but no details.
Oh thank you for thanking me You did the bigger part and every critic in CC is pleased when see someone takes their crits to heart. That's the goal of our activity, to be of help (well I learn through it and it's easier to criticize than to draw sometmes but that's don't diminish my benevolent intentions ).
Your bone and muscle drawings look great by the way
