Lance Kitchens is a published Aviation Air Combat Artist of 32 years, a World War II / Aviation Historian, and a computer graphic artist/illustrator/designer. His Aviation pieces have been featured both in magazines and books, such as "The Men, The Machines, The Missions" published 1997 with the National Historical Society, World War II Magazine, Air Combat Magazine, Aviation Magazine, and Vietnam Magazine. He also has works featured in art galleries and museums, along with limited edition prints. He has also been commissioned by the United States Military, 101st Airborne Division, 160th Aviation Regiment "The Night Stalkers", Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association, Chuck Yeager, and the former Chairman of the Joint Chief's of Staff Gen. Hugh Shelton (Ret.). He is also a contract freelance graphic artist working with magazines in his native state of Arkansas. As a bassist during the 80's, he toured parts of the U.S. and played on several rock and metal albums. He recently enrolled at The Art Institute of Atlanta for his BFA. His major is Game Art and Design. Struck by lightning twice, and still alive!
