Composition Presentation 1: Design Theory for Artists
I just had a quik view on your team's work, and I have to say : nice team you have there! The characters look awesome! Yours is my personal favourite, the little priest toad! I wish the members of my team were that much dedicate to that contest; oh well! They are nice and work well, it's just that they limit the conversation to the strict minimum.
On our part, we divided the work into segments : one doing the linework, one (and a half lol) - me - doing the coloring, and one other who works on the background and helps a bit on the coloring job. This contest is fun, I hope that there will be plenny others!
Oh, and I want to ask quickly if you're able to see my personal image? I still don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm missing, but I can't figure why my personal image won't appear... I modified the size several times, keeping the jpg format, but it still won't appear. Can you please help me on that one?
Best of luck!
Aaaaaargh! This website is gonna drive me crazy!!! lol
I just went in your portfolio page, without noticing (or remembering at first) that people of your team are using it to share their sketches for the contest, and I just left a comment concerning your previous work! Was it the right place to leave a comment about your work, or was it another page? Being confused here!
Then again, your creatures look promising! My personal favourite is the 'toad-priest'! The elf also looks pretty good, I'm wondering though if it's supposed to be the light part or the dark side. It could be either one of them!
Looking for more!
Found iiiit (about the thread to you artwork). (note to myself : c'mmon bets, just click on the icon! lol).
Since it 's already past 3h30 AM this Saturday morning, I only just made a quick pick on the first page, the one written 'the Chow 2 team'. Looks great! I read really fast and came to understand that it's about creating characters, for a painting or something. I'll need to go back to the page this Monday morning to learn more! I'll also take some time to properly admire your work and give it some ratings. I saw some of your sketches, and so far it's looking pretty good! I especially like the one with the little girl in the middle, part of the many sketches with the horse, the bird out of its cage, the little funy guy in the left corner! Keep it up!
About the group, is it possible for me to enter? I can always write a little introduction about myself, even though I never have any clue about what to say. I speak through my work, usually, but if I must...
that's awesome!!!!! can't wait, but you may have to, sorry so busy!!!
Hiya Sekino! Thanks for the comment in on SB
Ooh, you should try out drawing other CA members, it's great fun and good practice And yes, I'd be honoured if you'd cartoonify me! There are some photos of me floating around in both that thread and the general 'what do you look like' thread. You should post a photo so I and others can have a go--or have you already?
Hallo! ... uhhmmm 3DSMax - http://forums.cgsociety.org fer 3DS brains, 3DBuzz.com for more 3DS brains, haven't checked if they still provide free CD tutes, and Google, of course. Happy Maxing! *pukes while in a shudder
3DSMax Sekino? *shudders. I can never get a handle on the UI of that softie. It doesn't like me. It hides the UIs and flips my models inside out. Posessed, perhaps, I can't rule it out.
Hay Sekino, Cheers for dropping by my sb before, really appreciated!
And I really liked your last 'City' CHOW too, cool work!
Hi Celeste, and you're welcome And indeed, 'friending' is a verb, at least according to my Apple dictionary, so you're safe See you around!
Thank you so much!!!
still at it
