I have posted some closeups (not hi-res) too.
The first one (the Joker in Batman's costume) is oil painting and digital.
Ye Olde Enemies piece is a mix of graphite, watercolor, acrylics and digital.
And finally, the Robin piece (inspired by Paul Pope work and the old tv series photos) is inkbrush, watercolor and digital.

This is a " Dark Forest Box" Most people use them for hiding jewelry. This one wound up in the possession of one of the members of the old rock band, " Deep Purple," I am sure he hides his jewelry in it as well. I made an octogon of wood and layered it in places with more wood and then carved it to look reminiscent of the water tortured trees and stumps in the place where I grew up. It is called " The Dismal Swamp," nice little place. With a name like that it has to be good !!! I hope you like it ! It is totally sculpted by hand. Crits , comments and questions always welcome !!

I am not trying to make a name for myself here, so much as share what I've done and what I continue to do as I am continually driven to grow by the examples of said masters. Thanks for looking.
